You always seem to look back on life and realize you should have done something different.

You should have said goodbye before they died.
You should have kissed her when you had the chance.
You should have studied instead of playing that game.

Everything in life, you should have done differently. But that's life. It's up to you what you do with it, and that makes you who you are. Everything happens for a reason and if you believe that, your life will be better for it.

Romans 8:28 - "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Everything that happens to us occurs for a reason. We can grow stronger through suffering. We can comfort others after experiencing our own losses/illnesses. With God there are no accidents.

Genesis 4:7 - "If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it."
Shows that everyone is faced with a decision to do wrong or right. However, you may not be accepted if you do wrong, but you will have God.

Heavenly Father, I ask for your guidance.
Come to me with your desire for my future.
I thank you for all that you have given me,
and I thank you for all that you have done.
I thank you for all that you’ve taken,
and I thank you for all that you’ve refused me.
For you are righteous and you know best.
My trust and faith is in you,
and I know you are watching over me with care.
Forgive me Father for all my wrongs.
I am a sheep without a flock; lost in this world.
I ask for your council; I cry for your guidance.
Good shepherd, show me my path and let me walk in your light.
Blessed Father, watch over my family and friends with a ready sword.
Whisper to them my graciousness for there company.
Holy Father, I honor you…
And will try to live with the dignity you have taught me
